I’ve had the honour of serving in our nation’s Armed Forces for over a decade. I have deployed around the world, serving in many international peacetime support operations. As an Intelligence Officer, I was responsible for team planning, as well as data and information analysis. I would frequently brief high-level government and military officials on timely and sensitive intelligence. My skills and background in the forces will give our electoral district a member of parliament who is honest, trustworthy, and efficient. Effective leadership is the backbone to any democracy.
It’s time we vet our local candidates to ensure they stand with Canada and uphold Canadian interests, morals, and values. I proudly stand with Canada! My focus is on Canadian issues that impact Canadians coast to coast.
Our citizens are struggling to put food on the table. They’re worried about their future and the future of their families. Our seniors and youth are struggling. Our farmers, fishermen, hunters, and veterans are all struggling. It’s not the Canada that we remember, love, and cherish. To top it all off, we are in the midst of a drug addiction epidemic. Drug use, homelessness, and crime are all out of control.
Over the past 15 months, I have actively engaged with our community, investing time and effort to understand the concerns of those I hope to represent. I have worked directly with farmers, fishermen, hunters, and veterans, listening to their needs and collaboratively crafting solutions that address the unique challenges we face. My approach to leadership is rooted in integrity, accountability, and tangible results. I believe our community deserves a member of parliament who brings a common-sense perspective and a steadfast dedication to the well-being of all Canadians.
Today, left-leaning parties have prioritized divisive, ideologically driven policies that ignore the real issues affecting Canadians. These misguided agendas have introduced policies that, rather than improving lives, have eroded our values and compromised our quality of life. As a proud veteran and patriotic Canadian, I pledge to offer a common-sense alternative that genuinely reflects the priorities of Cowichan Malahat Langford.
